The elusive dark cloud in Orion, illuminated from behind. Distance about 1500 light years. Taken with the LX200 and f/6.3 focal reducer, and SBIG ST8E. 60 min Red, 30 min Green, 30 min Blue. Processing with MAXIM and Photoshop.
